Job Description

Our Client, a Global Professional Services MNC is seeking to hire a dynamic Finance Director – Asia to support the growing market in the Asia Region.

The incumbent will be based in APAC HQ in Singapore and reports to the Group CFO

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the finance functions for Asia
  • Ensure the finance function provides a timely, efficient and professional service to each of the Asia Offices
  • Work closely with key management stakeholders in the Singapore HQ on key management initiatives, business transformation and process improvement projects
  • Be an excellent relationship builder with a collaborative style, able to act as a trusted advisor to the business heads, providing insightful, expert counsel on all financial aspects of new, potential and existing business ventures
  • Manage the production of all statutory and financial reporting, as well as overseeing management accounting, including financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, plus being involved in commercial initiatives and pricing
  • Project manage the internal & external audit processes
  • Build strong relationships with the overseas HQ Finance team, as the first point of contact for all finance matters
  • Responsible for working capital management, taxation and compliance maters


  • Degree in Accountancy, be professionally qualified (CA/ CPA/ ACCA)
  • 12-15 years of relevant, hands-on finance experience, including regional team management responsibilities
  • A background in professional services, such as management consulting, legal, education, hospitality, and/or healthcare would be advantageous
  • Experience in change-management in fast-paced, dynamic, corporate environments
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to manage a wide range of top-level stakeholders in a matrix style organization
  • High level of energy and the ability to operate analytically and decisively in stressful situations, with strong troubleshooting skills and a problem-solving mentality
