We are partnering with a renewable energy platform to hire a senior execution leader to oversee the delivery of utility-scale projects across the Philippines. This role will play a critical part in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard, while operating in a dynamic, multi-country environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution and delivery of renewable energy projects across multiple markets, from early-stage readiness through to operational handover
- Drive project timelines, cost control, and quality outcomes, ensuring delivery aligns with internal targets and commercial expectations
- Oversee contractors, suppliers, and technical partners, ensuring alignment on scope, performance, and delivery milestones
- Monitor project progress, identify risks early, and implement mitigation strategies to address delays or cost pressures
- Coordinate closely with internal teams including development, engineering, finance, and operations to ensure smooth project execution and transition
- Manage relationships with key external stakeholders such as regulators, partners, and local authorities
- Provide clear and regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and key decisions
- Lead and mentor project teams across different geographies, ensuring consistent standards and accountability
- Establish and improve execution processes, reporting structures, and governance frameworks across the portfolio
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and operational discipline across all projects
Key Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in renewable energy project delivery, ideally across solar and wind projects, with proven experience in the Philippines
- Proven track record of delivering multiple projects through construction to completion, with accountability for timelines, cost, and quality
- Experience working on the owner or developer side, with strong exposure to stakeholder management across internal and external parties
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently across different locations
- Strong leadership experience, including managing both direct and matrixed teams
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes and priorities
- Hands-on approach with the ability to step into execution challenges when required
- Solid understanding of project delivery frameworks, construction processes, and health and safety practices
- Engineering or technical background, complemented by project or programme management experience
- Willingness to travel across project locations in Southeast Asia
