Vice President, Strategy (Portfolio Management & Value Creation)

We are partnering with a Singapore-headquartered investment group to hire a senior strategy leader to work closely with group leadership, and portfolio company CEOs across strategy, transformation, and value creation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve group level strategy across multiple operating companies, aligning diverse businesses under a coherent strategic direction
  • Act as a thought partner to senior leadership and shareholders on growth priorities, transformation agendas, and long term value creation
  • Guide operating company leadership teams in translating strategic priorities into clear initiatives, success metrics, and accountability structures
  • Shape and oversee portfolio-wide strategic themes, including growth strategy, performance improvement, transformation, and organisational change
  • Provide structured, data-driven perspectives to support capital allocation, major investment decisions, and strategic trade-offs
  • Sense-check and challenge strategic proposals from operating companies, ensuring rigor, alignment, and execution realism
  • Support critical moments across the portfolio, including new market entry, business model evolution, restructuring, or integration of new investments
  • Elevate strategic thinking and decision quality across the organisation without introducing unnecessary process or hierarchy

Key Requirements:

  • Top-tier consulting background combined with in-house experience within strategy, transformation, operations, or CEO office environments
  • Demonstrated track record of driving value creation through strategy execution, transformation, or operational improvement.
  • Experience operating across multiple businesses and complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong commercial judgment with the confidence to challenge senior leaders constructively
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, high-expectation environments
