Assistant HR Manager (Talent Acquisition)

We’re looking for someone who can see the true potential in people and match them to roles that they’ll excel in.

To achieve our goals, we are building an ace team across South East Asia in regions like Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. One of your main roles will be to build new teams from the ground-up. Your ability to analyze a candidate’s character, motivations and skills will allow you to identify the best fit individual and allocate them to positions that will help them and the company flourish together.

You will use your recruitment experience, knowledge of each region and insights to help us develop a clear employer value proposition that helps us stand out from the competition and attract local talent.

To be successful in this role, you recognize the importance of being the first point of contact to candidates. You will have strong ownership to your role, act as brand ambassador and have the ability to engage meaningfully with talent to ensure a great candidate experience throughout their journey with us.

What You’ll Do:

  • Help us build the best team of talent by attracting, engaging with and selecting the right candidates.
  • Take a keen interest in growing EVP through LinkedIn, social media and participating in job fairs and career events
  • Act as a guide for new employees by ensuring a smooth onboarding process so that new joiners settle in well
  • Conduct regular check-ins with new employees to help them transition into their roles
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team dynamics to find the best fit candidate; manage expectations of both hiring manager and candidate
  • Keep abreast of recruitment trends and come up with new ways of attracting talent; make recommendations and improvements to the candidate journey over time
  • Take a keen interest in the tech space, understand how other players position themselves and how we can stand out from the pack

What You’ll Need:

  • University graduate with at least 3 years of recruitment experience in house or with a recruitment consulting firm
  • A passion for discovering top talent and placing them in roles they’ll love and succeed in
  • You take ownership of your role and consider yourself result-oriented, proactive and have the ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese as the HQ is in HongKong
