Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (US MNC- Max 8.5k @ 13 months)
DESCRIPTION
This position will partner with the Country General Manager / Commercial Director for South ASEAN region ( Singapore & Indonesia) and provide leadership and support to the country business teams in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analyses, data modelling and analytics to drive sustained profitable business growth for the Water Quality business in SASEAN. The incumbent will need to focus on the bigger picture, long term results and also ensure day to day execution of the right actions on time in a compliant manner with help of his /her team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and own the monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts for the Sales & Service Organizations.
Improve profitability and balance sheet through monthly analysis of revenue, cost and inventory variances. Use the analyses to lead initiatives for the business to improve Product mix, Pricing, Discounts, AP and AR.
Build and lead the team and processes for AR, AP, Invoicing, Credit and Taxation functions.
Controllership of existing and new agreements with distributors, strategic partners, vendors and Global manufacturing plants. Consolidation and reporting of budget for all the regions. Analyze spending trends and provide recommendation for cost optimization.
Provide advisory and consultative support to team on all finance related areas including accounting policies and other compliance requirements.
Work closely with the Global , Water Quality Platform OpCo finance teams. Indonesia & Singapore Finance teams to ensure upkeep of the highest financial integrity standards while conducting business. Ensure compliance requirements for all internal and external stakeholders.
Ideal candidate could possess the following qualifications:-
Qualified Chartered or Cost Accountant (former preferable)
8+ years of experience in finance-roles, with at least 3-5 years in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or Commercial Finance role, in a multi-national, having had exposure to Operational Finance (specifically experience related to transactional finance with goods passing through an Indonesian entity), working closely with Global and cross functional teams in a matrix environment.
Technical
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of financial planning systems such as Hyperion
Excellent analytical, problem solving, presentation and communication skills
Excellent knowledge of forecasting techniques
Extremely numerate
Strong accounting background, especially revenue/expense recognition rules
Business / Personal
Extensive experience in financial forecasting and modelling
Knowledge of the banking or payment industry preferred but not necessary
High on integrity, proactive, high-energy, self-motivated team player capable of delivering on multiple initiatives
Comfortable working with multi-functional teams within the Org.
Up to 10 % estimated travel required
