FP&A Manager (7-7500)
Summary
• Support CHC Intercontinental Export mission to be an autonomous, growing and sustainable consumer healthcare business
• Develop, implement, monitor and control Operational & Financial controls to achieve financial performance
and protect profitability
• Broad exposure to the management teams in the respective countries and other functions to drive business
performance, analytical reviews and management reporting
• Being a finance business partner working very closely with Supply Chain and supporting directly Commercial
Operation Directors, Finance Director
• Producing monthly reporting of activity in a timely manner, ensuring data quality, and communicating effectively
• Ensure business operations comply with company policies and best practices
Main Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Controlling:
- Actively support the Finance Director in the budget and forecast processes and submission in the group
reporting tools (Budget, Forecast revisions, 5 Year plan)
- Monitor sales (Sell in /Sell out/inventory at distributor level) and prepare monthly performance comments
- Analyze actual performance against budget and forecast and provide commentary for the management
report
- Controlling of selling expenses (in-bound costs, specific warehousing costs if any)
- Manage the monthly closing process in collaboration with the SSC (accrual management, variance
analysis)
- Monitor prices and commercial policy application
- Identify risks/opportunities and propose corrective actions needed to keep the budget’s targets
- Co-facilitate Credit Management for all Export territories and assist with cash collection.
- Co-challenge with Supply Chain data accuracy of the partners (orders, stock and sales forecasts...) and
collaborate with the Commercial team to consider local promotional factors impacting partner’s forecast
- Assist Supply Chain Managers to prepare the demand review meeting (S&OP) with relevant stakeholders
• Business Partnering:
- Being a business partner, supporting directly the Export Operational Directors, Finance Director by
providing regular or ad hoc financial analysis
- Support the decision-making processes to achieve CHC objectives, including Sales and COI targets
- Support mid-term and long-term strategic topics
- Lead ad-hoc regional/intercontinental projects
- Contribute to providing data for regional and Group presentations where needed
- Develop and implement operational and analytical dashboards to provide performance insights
• Active contribution within the IPSEN Finance community
- Contributes to system and process enhancement/automation
- Support best practices sharing across the organization

- Previous working experience in a cross-cultural environment, across various geographic areas (3 to 5 y
experience)
- Flexibility in working with offices located in different time zones
- Master’s in finance or equivalent post-graduate University qualification
- Experience in a multinational group
- Knowledge of Consumer Healthcare, Pharma or FMCG industries preferred
- Proven track record in an operational Finance role or strong experience
- Ability to work in a matrix organization with a high level of operational autonomy
Key Technical Competencies Required
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Use of financial systems: TM1, SAP
- Languages: Fluent English in written and oral, French would be a plus
