About the job
The successful candidate will join the Human Resources team for a leading European MNC in the shipping industry based in Singapore. He/she will be responsible for management of key HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Succession planning and Capability development. To support Senior Manager to implement learning & development (L&D) initiatives, strategize or develop L&D structures (E.g. Leadership program, Learning Journeys, Training Matrix, Training needs analysis etc.).

Job Description:
  • Enhance, implement, and develop in L&D activities and programs (face-to-face workshops, events, e-learning, blended learning, etc.) whilst ensuring a smooth learning experience for employees.
  • Support in establishing/reviewing leadership, competency and training frameworks.
  • Administer and coordinate external and internal learning activities including (but not limited to) resource allocation, vendor management, processing of grants, course registrations, updating and maintaining learning records, tracking of course evaluation and payment processing.
  • Handle employee training requests and other ad-hoc inquiries.
  • Track learning and development budget utilization and preparing reports.
  • Track learning effectiveness feedback to identify gaps to suggest areas for improvement.
  • Manage training partners/vendors providing training services.
  • Regularly communicate to employees on upcoming training or events that are relevant to their learning needs.
  • Specialised in end-to-end recruitment functions which include job postings, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checking, making salary proposal & job offering.
  • Identify critical positions, identify high-potential candidates, develop talent pool, identify successors & development of identified successors.
  • Partner with HOD to plan and timely fulfil their manpower requirement that are aligned with business strategies.
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures and processes comply with local employment laws and regulations.
  • Support other HR projects/initiatives.
  • Any other work-related duties as and when assigned by supervisor.


Requirements:
  • Qualification: Degree / Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent
  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Learning & Development, Talent Management.
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment/ labour laws
  • Able to work independently and reliably in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
