IT Manager (Hospitality/Travel Brand)

Our client is a leading luxury travel company that has operations in two continents globally. They are looking to expand and transform their systems to become more DIGITAL.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Project Coordination and Management:

  • Collaborate with various departments, including Marketing, CRM, Sales, Reservations, Operations, Finance, and Human Resources to understand technology requirements and project goals.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of selected technology projects, including planning, resource allocation, execution, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance. For example, overseeing the implementation of new shipboard system PMS system for the company’s fleet.
  • Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.

 

System Integration and Enhancement:

  • Lead the integration of technology solutions, such as online booking systems, online check-in systems, agent portal, resource library, reservations systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, onboard Wi-Fi login portal, digital comment cards, as well as human resources, accounting, and operational systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for system enhancements that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Liaise with departments to gather user requirements and ensure that technology solutions align with business needs.
  • Ensure security, privacy, and compliance with sensitive HR, financial, or customer information.

 

Vendor Management:

  • Oversee technical vendors selection, relationships, contracts, timelines, and service-level agreements.
  • Work closely with external technical partners and vendors to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of technology solutions.

 

Maintenance, Technical Support, and Improvement:

  • Oversee and ensure the continued smooth functioning of existing technology projects and systems.
  • Manage certain administrative systems such as, Microsoft Office, emails (Outlook or similar), Zoom (or similar) Dropbox, DropboxSign, to ensure they meet the company’s needs. This will include managing contracts, users and provide training as needed.
  • Supervision and coordination with the satellite vendor for the company’s fleet.
  • Provide technical support for users of various systems when necessary.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience of these systems.
  • Be the ambassador of cybersecurity and train company’s employees in this matter.
  • Develop and oversee IT Policies which include Leaver/starter user management, IT Security, Data protection.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management and technology coordination.
  • Strong understanding of system integration, project lifecycles, and vendor management.
  • Fluent English-speaking level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic and evolving work environment.
    • Experience with SaaS systems administration is a plus.
