Your Responsibilities:
- Managing H&M, PNI, FD&D and other insurance covers for company's fleet;
- Ensuring all claims are filed with relevant insurers;
- Coordinate with insurers to process various marine claims (hull, cargo, crew & related P&I claims);
- Assist commercial team to handle and settle charterparty disputes;
- Lead Loss Prevention Initiatives & continuous improvement in marine claims processing & procedures;
- Ensuring proper documentation and record of all premium payments and insurance claims of the company.
- At least 3+ years relevant marine insurance and claims experience, preferably with a shipowner/management firm/ P&I club;
- Hands-on person with great communication skills and proven supervisory skills;
- Resilient, possesses a sense of urgency and works well under demanding timeline;
- A degree in Maritime Law or Marine Insurance would be a plus;
- Mandarin speaking ability is preferable
