Our client is a leading mining and metals resource company who are one of the largest dry bulk commodity trading houses too and looking to hire and experienced Marine safety professional who has a knack for processes and systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a big shipping conglomerate in their new initiatives to enhance safety at sea and crew welfare programs.

An ideal candidate is someone already based in Singapore with prior sailing experience on board vessels combined with maritime technology background or project management experience.

Job responsibilities include:
  • Lead the development of several concurrent “Safety & Crew Welfare” initiatives on behalf of Initiative Owner’s.
Key project management activities will be to:
-Maintain Project Documentation
-Run Project Update Meetings
-Ensure Milestone Delivery
-Lead Implementation Phases
-Co-ordinate Milestone Reviews
-Co-ordinate Industry Collaboration
-Obtain support and backing from all shareholders (Marine + Product Groups)
-Ensure proper change management
-As well as creating procedures, reports, and contract documents as required.

This role is critical in the project management and development of the  marine safety uplift initiatives.
