This is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing shipping company in an international location and be able to develop into a commercial operations role in the future.
Within this role, your main responsibilities will be to maximize cargo intake and ensure smooth operations of the ships. You will also develop and maintain good working relationships with local agents, bunker suppliers, cargo hold cleaning material suppliers, port authorities; and various service providers.
This is a role that will require you to take ownership of 8-10 bulk carriers and manage a small team under you for all HSEQ, Marine operations, and commercial vessel operations. You will also be required to train the ship's crew onboard for various complex loading and discharging operations such as stripping of tanks etc.
To be suitable for this position you must have sailed as a Master Mariner and have a strong background in bulk carriers.
