QUALITY & ISO CORDINATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and ISO related activities
  • Supports and investigates customer complaints regarding quality and suggest adjustments accordingly
  • Assists in the development of standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation
  • Assists in the development of procedures, forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
  • Compiles and writes training material on quality assurance activities
  • Assists in the certification process for ISO 9001
  • Assists in the development of certification process for ISO 14100
  • Assists in the development of certification process for ISO 34700 – Chapter 7.2
  • Assists in the development of certification process for ISO 37100
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external audits
  • Other duties as assigned – may include additional certifications.
  • Organizes and chairs meetings such as Management Review meeting and Steering Committee meeting prior to ISO audit
  • Assists in the development and analysis of statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product
  • Coordinate and manage all external ISO audits
  • ISO Documentation (Document Controller/Internal Auditor)
  • Conduct employee ISO training
  • Other responsibilities related to ISO system
  • Assisting in immediate root cause analysis to avoid future and reoccurring non-conformances
  • Coordination of corrective action including data follow up
  • Document Control for all business related documentation to comply with external and internal standards

QUALIFICATION
  • Certifications for ISO 9001, ISO14100 audit
  • Able to review and prepare manual for ISO 9001, ISO 14100, ISO 37100 and ISO 34700 Chapter 7.2
  • Direct experience planning or managing audits
  • Knowledge of additional ISO or other common industry certifications is a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in ISO manual preparation and audit
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication is essential
  • Leadership and teamwork skills are paramount to success in this position
