Regional Human Resource Manager

Our Client is a leading logistics brand that are growing exponentially across the world with their HQ in Singapore. They are currently looking for a dynamic individual with a go-getter attitude to take ownership of the HR department and expand with the company.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and own all HR related matters and supervise a team of 8.
  • Conduct overall HR budgeting, hiring plans for the company and be the chief custodian of Human Resource matters.
  • Develop, facilitate, and monitor Training & Development plans together with other department heads.
  • Update and implement HR policies and procedures in line with the Employment Act and existing MOM regulations.
  • Continuously review and recommend putting in place good HR practices and policies for the company. This includes review and recommendations for remuneration packages and benchmarking.
  • Manage the full process of Talent Acquisition.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives including feedback sessions, staff bonding activities & wellness programs.
  • Manage process of performance appraisals.
  • Handle monthly payroll, issuance of monthly payslips, submission of monthly CPF and IR8A.
  • Prepare IR21 for notification of employee’s cessation of employment/departure
  • Administer staff benefits and leave management.
  • Maintain employee files and records in an organised manner.
  • Support the BOD and Management Team on HR related matters.
  • Assist in all other ad-hoc HR related duties.

Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Business administration or equivalent.
  • Well versed with employment-related legislation in relation to HR.
  • At least 8 - 12 years of Human resource experience in all areas of HR. i.e. recruitment, talent management, training with experience preferably in transport, logistics and service sector
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and maintain the confidentiality.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word and payroll software
  • Communicate well in Mandarin and English for ease of business to deal with counterparts in China.
