Are you someone with prior experience in planned maintenance systems in a shipping company and are looking to work for a ship owner in their technical and purchasing department in Singapore?
This is an exciting opportunity for you to work in a close knitted environment reporting directly to the senior management.
Your key responsibilities will be as below:
Plan, control, and execute all activities including procurement of stores, spares and lubs of assigned vessels in the most cost -effective manner.
Provide technical advice and support to the vessels and participate in the day to day technical operations and all associated tasks, certification, sailing technical inspections, preparing budgets, maintaining costs within budget.
Liaise with Class for arranging annual and periodical surveys.
Liaise with makers as required on troubleshooting technical problems & advising vessels accordingly.
Prepare inspection reports and quarterly reports for management.
Liaise with HSE / Crewing / Accounts Department for smooth operation of vessels.
Maintenance and upkeep of the Vessel Planned Maintenance System on-board and ashore.
