Accountant (Online Gaming Platform)
Our client is a fast-growing online gaming platform with an expanding international footprint. As part of its growth, the company has set up a new office in Dubai and is seeking an experienced and independent Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting operations locally.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys building processes from the ground up and working in a dynamic, high-growth, and entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the full set of accounts and oversee end-to-end accounting for the Dubai entity
• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure accurate and timely financial records
• Work closely with outsourced accounting partners while maintaining internal ownership of financial data.
• Oversee corporate tax compliance in the UAE (in coordination with external tax consultants)
• Assist with audits and financial compliance matters across entities
• Support the setup and strengthening of finance processes for the new Dubai office
• Utilize Xero and Excel for accounting, reporting, and financial analysis
Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience working in the UAE market with knowledge of local Corporate Tax requirements.
• Independent, proactive, and able to operate in a fast-paced, startup style environment
