This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established global freight organization who are now looking to hire a Business Development Manager with a hunter mindset to be based in Singapore.
The position requires you to generate new clients within the Project Cargo/OOG space ideally within the construction/machinery/Oil & Gas industry to generate sales and increase market share in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for generating sales & increase market share
• Develop close relationships with existing and potential clients to meet sales targets & ensure consistent long-term business
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through regular contact with potential customers & close analysis of the local market
• Constantly look into and propose new innovative ways of doing business to the management
• Contribute to the long-term profitability of the business through innovative thinking and aggressive sales activities
Requirements
• Minimum 4 years in a Sales Management role with Ocean Freight experience from either Freight Forwarding, NVOCC/ Logistics Company
• Self-motivated individual
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable success in Marketing and Business Development
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Innovative and possess a can-do attitude
