Fleet Personal Manager – Ratings
Job Responsibility:
*Planning of candidates with a window of 3 months
*Sourcing candidates as per the requirements through sourcing team.
* Initial scrutiny of applicant’s documents for the intended position and arrange interview with training team.
*Keeping in touch with ex-hand ratings on leave and maintaining the availability list of ex-hand ratings on leave.
*Maintain records of all the floating staff onboard and on leave. Plan the proposed candidates for relief of off signers and send the planner every week to all parties concerned.
*Replying to messages from vessels regarding relieves / extension of contract after Owners approval
*Liaise with Senior management for the approval of all the ratings for employment on board vessels.
*Verifying the documents of selected floating staff prior posting them on board the vessel
*Liaise with Travel department for travel plan / arrangements to connect as per ETA / ETD.
*Communicate with vessel for crew change feasibility etc.
*Arrange pre-joining medical examination of the joiners.
*Communication with Principals on a day to day basis for planning.
*Ensure that crewing software (OMNIA) is properly/regularly updated
*Analyze Seafarers PEF to identify training needs and area of improvement through training Dept.
*Carry on duties as and when requested by senior management
