Finance Business Partner 


We are looking for a highly analytical Finance Business Partner (Marketing and Growth) to join our regional team based in Singapore.

You will be a key member of the Regional Finance Business Partnering team, supporting our APAC Marketing teams.

The Finance Business Partner (Marketing and Growth) will partner end-to-end with Regional and Country Marketing Teams. You will lead strategic planning, order projections, pricing, variance analysis, investment analysis and review marketing costs. The ideal candidate will have experience partnering with Sales and Marketing teams and have demonstrated the ability to influence and add value.

Responsibilities

  • Business partnering with Marketing, Country and Regional FP&A team to ensure that financials are clearly understood by wider teams

  • Driving the Business to meet target KPIs by providing proactive insights to highlight opportunities for improvement

  • Partner closely with Marketing to understand order projections, pricing, impact of vouchers, marketing investments, and process improvements

  • Leading monthly and quarterly Financial Planning cycles for Marketing by providing forward looking estimates and communicating the plans to multiple teams with clear commentary

  • Managing end to end change management projects ensuring robust financial controls prior to launch of new initiatives / expansion

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure accuracy of monthly Marketing Spend, and ensure monthly Budgets & Targets are aligned with Marketing Team’s expectations.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration from a top-tier university, with finance qualifications (CA, CPA, ACCA)

  • 5-10 years of Finance Business Partnering or FP&A background in e-commerce / technology / Food and Beverage or similar industries

  • Background in fast-paced, MNC, entrepreneurial or startup/technology environments preferred.

  • Must have experience supporting Sales or Marketing teams

  • Comfortable to sit within the business unit and explain financial concepts to non financial stakeholders. Able to explain what an accrual is to non financial stakeholders

  • Experience in providing recommendations based on financial modelling and data to senior management for strategic decision-making

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills working within a regional and matrix management.

  • Experience in data analytics including Excel, Tableau and SQL
