Core Responsibilities Strategic Business Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the Singapore MD and site General Managers.
- Contribute to the development and execution of business strategy, ensuring strong financial alignment with operational and commercial objectives
- Provide insightful financial analysis, modelling and decision support to drive growth, margin improvement and capital efficiency.
- Evaluate new business opportunities, capital investments, and strategic initiatives to support sustainable expansion.
- Lead all financial planning & analysis activities including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, long-term strategic plans, and scenario modelling.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and corporate requirements.
- Drive performance management through KPI development, variance analysis, and clear financial visibility across all sites.
- Promote financial acumen across the leadership teams to ensure disciplined, data-driven decision-making.
- Own the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes.
- Ensure integrity of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with corporate governance standards.
- Oversee tax, treasury, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain and continuously improve robust financial systems, standard costing processes, and internal controls.
- Partner closely with HQ Finance team to ensure alignment with global policies and reporting standards.
- Lead external audit relationships and ensure successful statutory account preparation.
- Identify and drive initiatives to improve operating efficiencies, working capital performance, and profitability.
- Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
- Monitor inventory management, standard costing, and productivity metrics to enhance operational transparency and performance.
- Leverage financial data analytics and system automation to improve reporting quality and efficiency.
- Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing regional finance team.

- Provide clear objectives, coaching, and performance feedback to build capability and bench strength within the team.
- Promote strong cross-functional collaboration between Finance, Operations, Commercial and Supply Chain teams.
- Significant senior finance leadership experience within a multinational manufacturing environment ($100m+ turnover).
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and experience operating in a SOX-controlled environment.
- Full-spectrum finance expertise including FP&A, controllership, tax, treasury, statutory compliance and internal controls.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive business performance through financial insight.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing finance teams.
- Strong ERP and financial systems knowledge; experience driving automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Analytical, data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving capability.
- High integrity, strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA, MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
