Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of countries in terms of agency corporate governance, performance management, and commercial activities

Oversee board/management structures, ownership frameworks, CAPEX & OPEX plans, and commission negotiations

Collaborate with the Agency Finance Controller to review and monitor agency financial performance, cost structures, dividends, and budget adherence

Lead annual budget planning with agency and HQ participation, track and report on execution

Support M&A projects through structured project management

Drive performance improvements across agencies by working closely with business units and HQ stakeholders

Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive actions based on stakeholder feedback and operational insights

Assist in executing transformation initiatives, contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement projects

Maintain strong relationships with local partners to ensure sound corporate governance

Handle commercial activities such as detention/demurrage post-waivers and third-party billing for container repair waivers
-
Occasional travel to regional offices may be required
Requirements:
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in container or dry bulk shipping
-
Proven experience in managing agency relationships and corporate governance
-
Strong analytical, financial, and stakeholder management skills
-
Excellent communication and coordination abilities

Experience in corporate, trade, or finance-related roles is a plus
