Regional Senior Tax Analyst (Consumer Goods Brand - Pure big4 welcome)
Our client is one of the renowned US listed multinational company in the consumer goods.
Role Overview
Reporting to the regional tax leader, this position is responsible for the Asia (excluding Greater China), Middle East and Africa tax provision and compliance process. In addition, this role will be responsible for regional operational transfer pricing, as well as any ad hoc tax advisory projects, as needed. There will be exposure to international work across many regional jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparing tax provision calculations and coordinating the regional tax provision reporting
• Ensuring timely completion of various tax filings, either directly or in consultation with external service providers
• Advising on audits and inspections, providing information as requested by tax authorities and recommendations for resolution of controversies
• Performing regular reviews of the intercompany transaction processes and results; and supporting on the collation and review of information for submission to tax authorities
• Working with a network of internal business partners (accounting, FP&A, commercial teams, and the global tax group) and external consultants and service providers
• Tracking changes to tax laws, recommending and implementing projects to respond to new laws and business initiatives
Position Selection Criteria
• Three to five years in industry in a similar role or in a public accounting firm, focusing on Asian regional tax issues (Pure big4 candidates are welcome)
• Experience with tax compliance activities for US multinational companies is preferred
• CPA equivalent or other basic accounting qualifications preferred
• Fluency in English is required, and additional Asian languages are a plus
• Experience with SAP, HFM, or similar programs is a plus
• Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, mindset of continuous improvement, able to work independently within a diverse teams
