Sales Manager (Global MNC, Maritime sales)
Our client is a well-established player in the marine services industry, known for its commitment to operational excellence, technical capability, and customer-centric solutions. As part of its growth in Singapore, the company is seeking an experienced and hands-on Sales Manager to lead and drive all sales and business development activities locally. This is a critical role that will partner closely with senior management and operations teams and play an integral role in revenue growth, key account management, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all sales and business development activities for the Singapore market, covering marine services, ship repair, and offshore-related solutions.
- Partner with senior leadership to align sales strategies with business objectives, including revenue targets, market penetration, and customer segmentation.
- Oversee the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation and client engagement to proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ship owners, operators, shipyards, and offshore stakeholders to drive repeat business.
- Identify new business opportunities, monitor market trends, and analyze competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate closely with operations, technical, and finance teams to ensure accurate costing, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage pricing strategies, tenders, and commercial negotiations in line with company guidelines and profitability targets.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and reports using CRM or internal systems.
- Drive continuous improvement across sales processes, enhancing efficiency, responsiveness, and customer experience.
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and networking functions to strengthen brand presence in the marine market.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–10 years of sales or business development experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the marine, offshore, shipping, or technical services industry.
- Strong understanding of marine services, ship repair processes, and commercial practices in the maritime sector.
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and closing complex commercial deals.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills; able to engage effectively with customers and senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced and operationally intensive environment.
- Experience with CRM systems, sales reporting, or tender management tools is an advantage.
