Senior Financial Analyst (Medical Device)
One of the fastest growing Medical devices US MNC with an APJ revenue of US$ 700 mn and rapidly expanding in the region.
Reporting into the Regional FP&A Director your responsibilities will be as below:
Position Summary:
This individual will be leading the annual financial budgeting and quarterly forecast process, operating plan variance analysis and projects to drive business growth for the Asia-Pacific Japan Region (excluding Greater China)
Coordinate and drive quarterly revenue forecast process, including to review and analyze inputs from the sales team, developing a strong understanding and validate the input provided and provide financial analysis as necessary
Lead weekly revenue projection process, analyze and highlight any potential gaps to Sales Director for necessary actions
Coordinate and drive quarterly operating expense forecast, which includes the review of headcount hiring information, conduct trend analysis of run-rate costs to support forecast input, provide variance analysis explanation and liaise with accounting team on accruals
Coordinate annual budgeting process for both revenue and operating expense by managing and coordinating input from various departments
Management Reporting and Analysis
Develop and ensure accuracy and timeliness of management reporting, including actual vs. budget and forecast variance analysis to communicate forecast, changes, risks and opportunities
Provide financial modeling, analytics, and general internal Corporate Finance support to Commercial Operations organization
Support Commercial Business Partners in preparation for regional Quarterly Business Reviews and Quarterly Executive Reviews
Lead and participate in process improvement projects
Ensure that all FP&A reporting procedures/deliverables documentation are developed and maintained

Position Requirements:
Min. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
Min. 5+ years’ experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis role
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience working within a functional role where collaborating with internal customers (e.g., Sales, Contracts, Operations and etc.) in a timely and efficient manner is as important as day-to-day Finance/Accounting related duties
Ability to think critically, highly driven and self-motivated
Proven ability to evaluate and solve complex problems and understand the strategic implications of different business approaches
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work well within and across-functions
Self-directed and able to work well in a team and remote work environment
Strong attention to detail, with high standards of accuracy and precision
