A reputed ship management company in Hong Kong is looking to hire Technical Superintendents to support the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of its dry cargo fleet. Both first-time superintendents and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day technical operation of assigned dry vessels

Monitor vessel condition, maintenance planning, and defect rectification

Ensure compliance with Class, Flag, statutory, and company requirements

Coordinate repairs, spares procurement, and service attendance

Assist in planning and execution of dry dockings and major repairs

Review vessel performance, budgets, and cost control

Act as the primary technical point of contact between ship and shore

Support audits, inspections, and incident investigations as required
Candidate Profile:

Sailing background as Chief Engineer / Second Engineer on dry bulk or general cargo vessels

Fresh ashore candidates with strong sailing exposure are encouraged

Experienced Technical Superintendents with prior shore experience preferred for senior roles

Sound knowledge of PMS, dry docking, repairs, and regulatory compliance

Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills

Willingness to be based in Hong Kong
