Accounting Expert APAC (Technology, SGD 6-7k)
Our Client is a leading, fast-growing and financially stable Technology start-up within the Food Services industry.
As part of their expansion plans they are looking to hire an Accounting expert with strong commercial experience coupled with big 4 experience to handle entire GL for APAC.
Reporting into the head of finance your role will be as below:
Responsible for full spectrum of accounting functions including General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliations
Responsible for the monthly closing of books in SAP system including performing month end close related tasks in a timely manner in line with Group guidelines
Responsible for local GST return submission and liaising with tax agents & IRAS
Supervise the accounts payables and accounts receivables staff
Lead the year-end statutory audit and liaise with external tax advisors when necessary
Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies, audit, tax and other statutory requirements
Manage various financial topics and provide ad-hoc support to the finance team.
What You Bring To The Table
Professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / CPA/ ACCA/ CIMA
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in maintaining full sets of accounts, including General Ledger, AR, AP, Fixed Assets and Bank Reconciliations. Prior experience working with an Audit firm will be a plus
Strong knowledge and experience in Singapore FRS and cost centre reporting.
Hands-on local GST reporting experience and leading statutory audits
Hands-on working experience with finance systems such as SAP/ Oracle. Prior experience working with SAP system will be a plus
Highly proficient in advanced Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s etc.)
Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up/technology environments will be a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical abilities.
Ability to work well under pressure, detail-oriented and employs a proactive approach to problem-solving
Positive working attitude, demonstrate good interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups of people at all levels throughout the organization.
