 Assistant Accounting Manager

A Global Business Service which provides high quality, scalable and cost-efficient business support services, such as finance, HR and IT.

The Assistant Accounting Manager will report to the Finance Manager. You will be leading and managing the financial teams from SG, KL and Myanmar. You would need to be great with numbers, meticulous and analytical.


Required experience and skills:

  • Minimum Degree in Accounting/Finance or similar discipline.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in similar position.

  • Prior Big 4 audit experience preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft excel.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.

  • Team player.


What you will be doing:

  • Guide the team in handling full sets of accounts (AP, AR and G/L), including preparation of journal entries, balance sheets, income statements & other reporting schedules of legal entities.

  • Oversee and lead the accounting team on day-to-day activities including payment review and approval.

  • Prepare and supervise monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing and corporate HQ reporting.

  • Manage finance related activities such as cash flow management, risk management and tax matters, and producing statutory accounts/reports.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, group financial and treasury policies.

  • Up keeping of strong internal control system and corporate governance.

  • Continuously driving process improvement.

  • Liaison with auditor / tax agents/ company secretary.

  • Provide finance advice and proactive support to the management and business operations.
