Our client is a leading shipping conglomerate looking to recruit someone with prior owners rep experience managing 3rd party technical ship management entity for their fleet of vessels.
This is an ideal opportunity for a 2nd Engineer/3rd Engineer or a Naval Architect with prior experience as a Technical Executive or Assistant Technical Superintendent to be a part of a market leading highly innovative organisation.
You will be reposnsible for:
- Assist in preparing monthly OPEX funding for vessels under Third-Party Management, subject to final review before submission to Management.
- Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, and other reports for review by the General Manager (Technical).
- Assist in following up and closing any open items discussed in monthly meetings with Manager (Third-Party Management).
- Assist in preparing the inspection schedule of vessels under Third-Party Management, supervised by the owners Superintendent.
- Ensure timely submission of reports, including month-end reports, pre-takeover costs, daily running costs, project costs, dry-dock costs, Lub Oil (L.O.) consumption, and Class Survey Status, in collaboration with the Manager and Finance Cost Control team.
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop a yearly inspection plan for timely vessel inspections.
- Maintain document control of the SMA for vessels placed under Third-Party Management.
