Our client is a global organization seeking an experienced and analytical Manager, Total Rewards to play a key role in shaping and maintaining the company’s global compensation framework. This position will partner closely with HR and business leaders to ensure compensation structures remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with the organization’s Total Rewards philosophy.
This role is particularly focused on job evaluation, job architecture governance, and compensation analytics, ensuring consistent job grading and robust salary structures across multiple geographies. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain global compensation frameworks, including salary ranges, compensation models, and job grading structures.
- Conduct compensation analysis, salary benchmarking, and market research to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.
- Design and manage annual compensation planning processes, including salary reviews, incentive programs, and bonus cycles.
- Lead job evaluation and job architecture governance using methodologies such as Mercer IPE, Spinnaker, or other structured frameworks.
- Conduct global and country-level market competitiveness reviews using salary surveys and benchmarking tools.
- Review and challenge job design and organizational structure proposals to ensure alignment with established job architecture principles.
- Identify and address compensation risks such as pay compression, mis-slotting, and internal inequities through data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to design and implement performance management and reward programs.
- Ensure strong alignment between performance outcomes, reward programs, and overall compensation strategy.
- Maintain data integrity across compensation datasets, HR systems, and job architecture frameworks.
- Oversee and optimize employee benefits programs, including plan design, vendor management, and employee communication.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies across compensation and benefits programs.
- Lead and deliver Total Rewards and compensation-related projects as part of broader HR initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in compensation or Total Rewards, ideally within a multinational organization.
- Strong experience working with job evaluation methodologies (Mercer IPE preferred), including job matching, slotting, and governance.
- Proven experience managing global or regional compensation structures, including salary ranges, pay bands, and job catalogues.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative capability, with strong Excel and compensation modelling skills.
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable compensation strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence HR and business leaders.
- Self-starter with the ability to independently manage complex reward projects in fast-paced environments.
- In-depth understanding of compensation and benefits regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Professional certifications such as CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or CBP (Certified Benefits Professional) are advantageous.
