Global HR Specialist (Performance & Rewards) (Global MNC)
 
Our client is an established organization within the global maritime industry. They are seeking a Global HR Specialist (Performance & Rewards), based in Singapore, to support and advance their global people practices across performance management and total rewards.
 
This role goes beyond administering policies and processes. It focuses on strengthening performance frameworks, building fair and competitive reward structures, and ensuring consistent, scalable people practices that support a high-performance culture and enable the business to attract, motivate, and retain talent across regions.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the design and implementation of a global performance management framework, including performance cycles, standards, and governance
  • Establish goal-setting approaches that align individual objectives with business priorities
  • Promote a culture of continuous feedback and regular performance conversations across the organisation
  • Support the design and execution of fair, consistent performance evaluation and calibration processes
  • Develop and maintain global performance improvement frameworks and supporting governance tools
  • Support the development and implementation of global total rewards strategies, policies, and governance frameworks
  • Guide market-aligned pay practices across geographies in line with job structures and role architecture
  • Define global role structures and progression standards to support career clarity and internal equity
  • Contribute to the design of variable pay programs and employee recognition frameworks
  • Support the governance of global benefits design principles and their local adaptation
  • Ensure alignment with global fairness standards and applicable legal requirements in performance and pay practices
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across global HR systems and provide performance and rewards reporting and insights to support decision-making
 
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business, Finance, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications or professional certifications in compensation, rewards, or HR disciplines are advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in performance management, compensation and benefits, or related HR functions
  • Experience working in regional or global roles is preferred
  • Strong understanding of performance management cycles, tools, and behavioural frameworks
  • Knowledge of compensation structures, pay benchmarking, job architecture, and benefits design
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, policy development, and analytical skills
  • Experience in maritime or other complex, operationally intensive, or highly regulated industries is an advantage
