Manager, Project Financing (Renewable Energy)
Our client is a leading renewable energy developer in Southeast Asia, focusing on utility-scale and commercial & industrial projects across the region. They are looking for a highly analytical professional to lead project finance, financial modelling, and corporate financial planning. This role will involve managing the financial structuring of renewable energy projects, supporting strategic growth, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial structuring and due diligence for renewable energy projects (solar, wind, storage).
- Build and manage detailed financial models, including debt sizing and returns analysis.
- Support M&A, greenfield transactions, and debt raising activities.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Analyse market trends, regulatory changes, and financing structures in Southeast Asia.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field. CFA, CPA, or MBA is a plus.
- 5–8 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, or financial planning, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector.
- Strong experience in financial modelling and infrastructure financing.
- Familiarity with energy market regulations and PPA frameworks in Southeast Asia.
