Senior Financial Analyst (Business Partner role)
Our client is a leading medical device brand and is headquartered globally in the US. They are looking for a dynamic finance business partner for their SEA region to report into the FP&A Manager based in Singapore.
- Work with the commercial team to drive the development of strategic (multi-year) long-term financial plans, encompassing market landscape, and capital requirements.
- Develop and implement short-term financial and operational plans (budgets and forecasts).
- Ensure financial results and related reporting requirements are accurate and submitted to Asia Pacific region in accordance with all deadlines.
- Ensure that business and financial plans include defined and measurable initiatives and programs aligned to support such plans.
- Set business framework for managing business investments, resource allocations, business planning, operations and performance measurements.
- Provide financial modelling, financial analysis and valuation support for acquisitions, long-term contracts and other ad-hoc financial projects
- Proactively monitor and put in place performance reporting processes to ensure both short-term and long-term objectives are met.
- Provide management team with insightful decision support/business analysis.
- Ensure pricing and investments support business growth and continued profit improvement.
- Coordinate Control and Compliance initiatives, Accounting /Audit activities and effective working capital management.
Successful Applicant
- A graduate degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
- Experience with managing through organizational challenges.
- 6+ years of experience in operations management or equivalent experience supporting the business as a finance partner.
- Demonstrated strategic, conceptual, and analytical skills, including a solid understanding of relevant commercial activities.
- Multi-national company experience with specific success working for US- based companies.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively interact with all levels of a company.
- Ability to travel throughout the Asia Pacific region.
- English fluency is a must and a solid understanding of the Asia region is desired.
