Training Manager, Indonesia

Are you a Master Mariner/Chief Engineer with prior working experience as a Maritime Trainer and want to work in an international location?

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing shipping company in Indonesia that is looking to set up its house Training facility in Jakarta.

Within this role, your main responsibilities will be to lay the foundation of training courses, methodologies and eventually managing the entire department. You will play a pivotal role in establishing their training department from scratch and providing tools for crew and officers within oil tankers, bulk carriers and LPG vessels.

To be suitable for this position you must have sailed as a Master Mariner or Chief Engineer and have a strong background in training either with a Training institute or a shipping company in their training department. Some travelling will be involved to visit vessels and train on board crew as well.
