Job Responsibilities
*Oversee the day-to-day operations including materials, ship managers, agents, other associated companies, and sub-contractors is done correctly and in accordance with existing work instructions and valid charter-party and contract conditions.
* To issue Freight/Hire Invoices to the charterers and to monitor until collected.
*Assist in other Ship Chartering Issues, i.e., cargo documentations, Bill of Lading, LC matters,
  demurrage management, customs duty and clearance related issues, vessel stowage planning
  and correspondence on PNI cases.
*Prepare and monitor vessel schedules and port activities on vessel arrival and departure.
*Arranging with suppliers for ship supply and scheduling of daily local deliveries
*Liaise between internal offices, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
*Deal with clients and ship-owners to manage post-deal follow up, resolve common and
   complex deliveries, disputes and claims between clients and ship-owners.
* Responsible for ensuring that the voyage management system, including the vessel’s schedule is kept properly updated at all times.
*Responsible for carrying out process studies, implementation of systems and executing for  
   work improvements.
*Perform other assignments from time to time when required.

Job Requirements
*Diploma / Degree in Maritime/ Shipping Studies or its equivalent
*Minimum 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience with chemical tankers, and /or CPP, Vege oil, Palm oil, etc.
*Team Player with strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
*Knowledge about T/C and Spot Charter Parties and laytime calculations
*Outgoing personality, assertive and ability to work under tight deadlines
*Able to multi-task and work independently
*Have a knowledge of system in (Q88) and Marcura DA- DESK is an advantage.
