Support financial oversight of operational and asset related costs across the business
Track and review expenditure to ensure accurate recording and alignment with internal policies
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and periodic cost reviews
Analyse variances and cost trends, flagging key movements to relevant stakeholders
Prepare financial reports, schedules, and analysis for internal review
Work closely with operational, technical, and external partners to validate financial inputs
Support month end close activities including reconciliations and accruals
Contribute to process improvements, controls, and documentation initiatives
Assist with audits, reviews, and ad hoc finance projects as needed

Degree or professional qualification in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
Relevant experience in a maritime industry
Exposure to cost management, budgeting, or operational finance activities
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Comfortable working with financial systems and Excel based analysis
Able to communicate clearly with both finance and non finance stakeholders
Organised, hands on, and able to manage multiple workstreams
Team oriented with the ability to work independently when required
