Group Accountant (West Singapore | Up to SGD 5.5K)
Our client is a large multinational organisation with regional operations in Asia and is looking to appoint an Accountant to support day to day finance operations, GL reporting and regional reporting activities. The role works closely with regional stakeholders and offshore support teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year end financial close and reporting activities
- Prepare and review accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records in line with internal policies and local accounting requirements
- Coordinate with offshore or shared service teams to ensure timely completion of finance processes
- Support statutory, audit, and tax related requirements including GST filings
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, external partners, and service providers on finance related matters
- Assist with cash, banking, billing, and receivables related activities where required
- Maintain accounting data within ERP systems and support process improvements
- Take on ad hoc finance projects as the business evolves
Key Requirements
- 6+ years or more of relevant accounting experience within a multinational environment
- Comfortable working with ERP systems in a structured finance environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Collaborative, hands on, and adaptable to change
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across regions
- Prior exposure to shared services environments is beneficial
