Our client is a well-established player in the manufacturing industry, known for its commitment to operational excellence and workforce development. As part of its growth in Singapore, the company is seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to lead and drive all HR functions on-site. This is a critical role that will partner closely with factory leadership and play an integral role in talent management, employee engagement, workforce planning, and HR compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all HR operations for the Singapore manufacturing site and supporting the commercial team.
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, including workforce planning, resourcing, and organizational design.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, retention, and career development.
- Design and implement initiatives to boost employee engagement, morale, and productivity across all levels of the organization.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements under Singapore employment law, including MOM regulations, WSHA, and relevant labor frameworks.
- Develop, standardize, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in alignment with corporate guidelines and local practices.
- Work with external stakeholders such as unions, training providers, and government agencies (e.g., SSG, WSG) to support capability building and grants.
- Manage HR systems and data, generating reports and insights for decision-making and manpower planning.
- Drive continuous improvement across HR processes, exploring automation or digital tools to streamline operations.
- Support payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations in coordination with the finance and operations teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification is a plus.
- 8–12 years of HR generalist or HRBP experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore labor laws, MOM regulations, and best practices in HR operations and compliance.
- Proven experience in implementing HR frameworks related to performance management, employee engagement, and talent retention.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; able to interact effectively with frontline employees and senior leadership alike.
- Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable, with a problem-solving mindset suited for fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
- Familiarity with union relations, WSQ training programs, or grant applications (e.g., SSG, ESG) is an advantage.
