  • Replace components, upgrade equipment and control systems, perform re-commissioning activities, and conduct safety checks and system adjustments.
  • Advise, coach, and train customers and vessel crew on proper system operation and product usage.
  • Carry out inspections, condition audits, and sensor exchange activities to ensure system performance and compliance.
  • Perform on-board troubleshooting in collaboration with local Field Service Engineers (FSEs), including on-the-job training for niche or specialized products.
  • Proactively engage central technical support through ServiceNow or direct technical networks and communicate findings and lessons learned to the wider service team.

  • Execute internal Performance Audits to support service quality and continuous improvement.
  • Review, develop, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure standardization and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Technical diploma or degree in marine, mechanical, electrical, automation, or related engineering disciplines.
  • Proven experience providing field service and troubleshooting for Heat & Gas Systems or similar marine process systems.
  • Hands-on experience with PureSOx, LNG, Inert Gas Systems, or exhaust gas cleaning technologies is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with full autonomy in an international marine environment, including sailing with vessels when required.
  • Experience working alongside Field Service Engineers, with demonstrated ability to train and mentor technical staff.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interface effectively with customers, crew, and global technical teams.
  • Proactive, safety-focused, and solution-oriented mindset, suited for complex and dynamic operational environments.
