Our client is a growing European freight forwarding business who are looking to recruit a critical position in their office in Singapore as an Operations Manager. The role is a leadership role handling both air freight and sea freight business. Below are some role responsibilities:
Airfreight and Ocean freight:
- Overlooking a team of approximately 10 Operating staff and procedures
- Experience of min 5-6 years in similar role and industry required
Quality Management:
- RCAR / ISO 28000 / STP certification
- Sales & Data quality (local cargo wise SG CW1): to be done via automated reports from CW1
Controlling:
- Monthly reports
- Monthly LCL statistics for the management
- HUB tariffs
- Other analysis as required
Procurement:
- update our FCL rate sheet and LCL inbound NVOCC sheet
Tenders / Special inquiries from overseas:
- filing of tenders
Global Key Accounts:
- Day to day inquiries, from some selected key accounts
Day-to-Day Operational / CS trouble-shooting, finding solutions, etc.:
- Work hand in hand with the MD in order how to improve our day-to-day operations and optimize our operations and workflows
