- Maintain high operational uptime and reliability of your assigned vessels.
- Ensure that all vessel activities are in line with the organization’s strategic direction and long-term goals.
- Take ownership of the financial performance of your vessels, with a focus on optimizing income, utilization rates, and maintenance efficiency.
- Develop and apply long-term maintenance strategies together with onboard senior officers.
- Lead maintenance-related projects in partnership with Fleet Intervention Project Managers.
- Serve as the liaison between vessels and various technical departments, promoting cross-functional alignment and shared learning.
- Manage maintenance-related budgets effectively and responsibly.
- Ensure full compliance with international and local maritime laws and safety regulations.
Candidate Requirements
- Sailed to at least 2nd Engineer and above holding a COC Class 1 on offshore vessels
- Managing offshore vessels for at least 3 years while onshore
- Proven experience in managing teams, preferably in maritime, technical, or engineering environments.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities, with a keen understanding of risk.
- Ability to interpret technical reports and operational data to support informed decisions.
- Sound knowledge of shipboard systems, maintenance practices, and engineering workflows.
- Experience with financial oversight, procurement procedures, contracts, and project delivery.
- Willingness to travel regularly to vessels, while being based at the company’s main office.
